I'm thinking to get it. I still have a series 3 lol. It works for me, but it's getting slow and the battery life is getting crappier. I don't mind big watches. The ruggedness and battery life would be great for what I do.
It's definitely a big upgrade from Series 3. I think my other watch is either a 4 or 5 (not sure) and I almost stopped wearing it cause it was getting laggy'ish and bored in general. The rugged new looks and the massive display is actually quite nice, and brightness is super good. The battery life based on the reviews is about 2.5 days with heavy use and with my use I am thinking it will last me at least 3-4 days as all I do on it is look at time and then only if any notifications show up, but I plan to start using it during my work outs now so that will impact it surely.

Got an iphone 11 Pro. Love it and it's more than enough phone for me. Battery life however has gotten ridiculous. I know most people just buy a new phone, but I literally have no use for any of the new phone features (maybe I don't know about them...). Does it make sense to buy a new battery? OEM or a knockoff? Thanks
I have the same phone and just replaced the battery at apple last month and it was something like 90. You might be able to save a bit with a knock off but for the minimal savings its not worth it imo

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Is the Apple store giving anyone else issues? I can't view my account details, order status, etc. Just comes up with a "this site can't be reached" error in my browser.

    Just to fill you in;

Yesterday morning I put on the watch with 100% battery. Had it on all day, regular notifications through out the day etc., and used a work out program for functional training for 1 hour and 20 minutes and kept it on until around 8PM, then I took it off and set it on the desk. This morning put it back on around 9AM and right now I am reading 64% battery. So definitely impressive in that regard.

Newest watchos updated really ruined my S6 battery life, hoping it gets fixed soon.

Airpod Pros 2 are quite good though, I think better than the OG ones from a bit of listening so far.

You "think"? Multiple reviewers are saying there is a significant improvement in sound quality, ANC, and transparent mode.

They are tiny headphones that fit in your ears. I think we are splitting hairs at this point.

No. Just vibrating them to generate sound.

Do you have cell service on that watch ? I have a series 5 or 6 can’t remember which but if I work out the watch will not make the day … I have cel service on my watch. One that can last two days is great …

Ah that might be the difference. I do not have cell service activated with my plan as my phone is always on me. That being said, the one Youtube video I watched had him last 2 days and 2 nights and some part of morning with cell service and working out daily. Marques Brownlee I think was the reviewer.

And an update; I just got to home from work and took off the watch for the night and the battery is at 43%. I imagine it'll last me half a morning at best now.

My watch series 7 ran out of battery the day after the os upgrade. The day after that it was back to normal. Apparently it takes a day or two to index files or something based on what I read online.

They're not worth the upgrade if your current Airpod Pros are working fine.

    Mine were falling apart.

    Nice. That's pretty good.

My series 3 lasts for about 10 hrs with mostly just standby. It's pretty sad. lol.

It was only listening to podcasts and using them for phone calls which is my main use, but yes now that I have used them for music they are better and the ANC is also quite a bit better at work
Not like night and day, but better.
