I actually removed teams from my phone and a few others at work did the same. Was killing our battery life.
I don't mind Teams on phones, on Windows devices it's painfully slow though that I prefer using the web version.

Was on a support call and while tech was remoted on my PC, I was on my phone, battery life barely dipped now on 16.6
Lots of other users online have confirmed that performance has been better with this update too.

    It's Apple day!

Carbon neutrality being talked about like crazy.

"As part of our new environmental push, for every iPhone you purchase, we'll slaughter a random Android user, thereby making the iPhone carbon neutral"

    Was really not expecting that.

USB c fucking sucks compared to lightning cables. I will stick with my 14 pro max as long as I can probably, even though most charging is done wirelessly.

It is the more durable connector. USB-C is an insipid design.

Yes. I have an Xs max that I kept around for one of my kids to use, and the connection is as solid as the day I got it. Very different than the usb-c I had when I used to be an android user that was loosey goosey and didn't charge all the time after like a year.

Well, sounds like A17 is quite a jump from 16 if you are picking up the Pro. And you'll be 1st to have 3nm chips in a phone.

I’ve posted about the issues with usb c before too. It’s much more difficult to clean lint out of it. But yea, I rarely plug in. I’m pretty much 99% wireless charging these days. Except on vacation when camera is used non stop.

Has anyone done the Apple pre-order before? I've always got mine thru Telus well after a model launch but this time I'm tempted to try out the Apple pre-order process.

Is lint in the connector port a big issue?

I hope so. Either that or I come from a massive family of dirty pockets.

I mean, has literally never been a problem on any USB-C phone in my household, and we are filthy animals. Maybe fancy sweats have more lint than cheap jeans? That's probably it.

    Hmmm..

Worth it to upgrade from iPhone 12 Pro?

For some reason, I love my phone’s pictures/videos compared to my wife’s who has a 13 pro..

I want an AOD display phone just for live activities during fantasy football season.

Aside from that I see no reason to upgrade my 13 ( though my battery life has been attrocious lately on the beta).

I have similar problems. My USB-C is garbage after 2 years.
