I don't think I've seen any 0% financing. I got into the apple website after the announcement and all I've seen was the 7.99%. I'm sure providers can do 0% financing though. I used to pay a phone out right but when these pros came out, I just can't see myself paying $1500+ for a phone lol.

The nice thing about apple phones now are their trade ins as even with my iPhone 12 Pro, I can still get ~$500 back. I'm sure I can get more by private sale but the ease of it is great. Market is a bit saturated with iPhones now.

I still love my iPhone 12 pro but I am way overdue for a watch. I still have series 2 lol so I will pick up the Ultra 2.

If you have a 13P I might not even bother. I have heard a lot of controversy over the apple 48MP camera being massively over processed and actually worse in practice.

Doesn't sound like the 15 version is actually any different

Only reason I'm upgrading is because my son needs a phone. But yea, would've been happy staying with the 13P. The only real feature I don't have is 4K cinematic mode, so I guess I'm looking forward to that one.

Trying to decide between the 9 and the Ultra 2. My watch 4 series screen has been cracked for about 3 months (wouldn't upgrade if it wasn't) so I've been waiting to get a new one as apple care+ expired ages ago.

Does anyone have an Ultra? Does the screen seem more protected that the protruding one on the non-ultra watches? the 9 looks the same as my 4 (and all the others 5-8) which looks prone to cracking from side glancing hits.

I think shak bought an Ultra last year and he returned it I think.
I am in a similar situation. I currently have the Series 6, and it's quite slow, but it still works.
Every time I consider getting the Ultra, I keep telling myself that I'll never use all the extra features it offers

Yea the Ultra has more protection for the screen for sure due to slightly raised edges. It is generally more rugged looking and feels more substantive on the wrist. I have thought about getting it again but then I like to wear the real mechanical watches so think it will just sit there. Since the series 9 and all before that look the same, I say the fact that ultra looks different is reason enough to get it. It is less dressier though so if you're the type that wears the Apple Watch everywhere including formal events, I imagine the standard model will fly somewhat more under the radar than the Ultra regardless of the strap you throw on them. I have my series 4 which also just sits there on the charger and if I was to get an Apple Watch again, which I might, it will likely have to be Ultra simply because at least it's different enough than the rest. But I also won't wear it at formal events. I saw on instagram the other day these super cool AP style bands for the ultra and that's making me want to get the ultra again so I can run those straps. Haha.

Yeah, my problem is that I should probably get the Fenix 7X Solar Sapphire because of all the data it captures and battery life. I appreciate both those aspects.

Then again, it feels like I would be a green bubble if I did.

I bought a 13 for my wife about a year and a half ago using PayBright directly on apple’s website. 0% interest over 24 months so it was a no brainer. Not sure if they still offer PayBright (one of the many BNPL providers) or if they started adding interest to BNPL deals recently.

So I would get 850 for my iPhone 14 Pro Max if trading to Apple. Think I am just going to trade it in. Even if I fire-sale it outside, I reckon to move it quick I'd have to list it for a grand. Based on what I see how many are listed. See some brand new ones listed for 1200. It's not worth my time to deal with Kijiji fuckers over a 150 difference. Plus I had dropped mine and there's small knick in the bezel. Hardly there but still there and I don't want to try and deal with people that point these out and haggle with you more.

Read the fine print becuase Apple is notorious for cutting back trade in value of the phone is anything less than pristine.
