How much damn lint you have? Never had any issues with my CarPlay and lighting port.
Could be a Nissan thing. My iPhone 11 barely worked at all. My 13 I have to clean every few months. It'll charge fine, I can copy photos off of it via USB, but Carplay won't start.

Some cars are really particular about the cable. Like genuine Apple cables only. I'd give that a shot.

I find a little bit of lag with those and the experience isn't as good as it is in my BMW's that have factory wireless CarPlay.

I picked up my first iphone ever (14 ProMax).

I like the hardware and the smoothness of it.

Hate the lack of customization, like let me put the icons wherever the hell I want it and let me change the look easily.

The battery life on it is amazing compared for my Pixel 6 Pro. I'll probably go back to Pixel if they ever make a fully functional unit with great battery life.

Apparently only the Apple stores are getting stock. Check tomorrow morning constantly as they get two shipments each day of stuff.

What kind of twisted mind would put icons not aligned with all other icons?

The world is full of sick bastards. Elon employs some of these people to program UI for Tesla.

Android icon's still snap to a grid. You just dont have to have all of the grid spaces filled. I used to have just one widget on my home screen with two folders for my most used apps. Made for a cleaner look. That said, its not really a big deal considering.

Had the reg 14 pro ordered but changed my mind and went with the max and just got it, this thing is fuckin huge. Got the clear case which is pretty slim but with apple care i think i might have to go raw dog to keep it as slim as possible.

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Max phones feel big for about 2 days.

Then you never notice the difference.

Got my Ultra today. Definitely noticeably bigger and what not but I like that quite a bit. I always like bigger watch faces so that is fine. The new Alpine strap is quite cool as well. Display is nice and brightness is significantly better. Rest no different in terms of day to day functionality.

Got an iphone 11 Pro. Love it and it's more than enough phone for me. Battery life however has gotten ridiculous. I know most people just buy a new phone, but I literally have no use for any of the new phone features (maybe I don't know about them...). Does it make sense to buy a new battery? OEM or a knockoff? Thanks

I’m still slugging through with an X. 5 years of this model, I need a new battery.

It’s still enough phone, but it’s showing its age with iOS 16. Maybe it needs a couple more updates, shrug.

Make an appt at Apple Store and get an oem one. Not worth the hassle messing around with aftermarket imo

I'm thinking to get it. I still have a series 3 lol. It works for me, but it's getting slow and the battery life is getting crappier. I don't mind big watches. The ruggedness and battery life would be great for what I do.
