It is also only $130 more than the stainless steel 8 with many more features and way better battery. I am contemplating one but will then have to learn to scuba dive.

I ordered a 14 pro max 512 today. Seems like a decent time to upgrade from my XS Max, I want to keep lightning cables.

Estimated shipping Oct 9th. Any chance it goes out sooner?

Everytime i get a new phone i always waffle with the reg and max, i was holding my wifes max last night but just couldnt get over how much bigger it was. i ordered the 14 P reg but might change it... mines oct 16 eta

I love my max phone. I’m surprised I like it so much. But it is glorious.

I basically gave up using my iPad once I got it.

Not always, the notch was a big deal. Slapping A15 in all lines (even the SE) was also a big deal.

Did I read it right somewhere that the sizes of iPhone 14's are bigger too now? AS in the regular and Max are both bigger now? My 13 Pro Max is the perfect size IMO and any bigger, it would be too much.

I think they are just slightly thicker and heavier and then the screens are like a tiny amount larger but still 6.1/6.7.

I got up early and have a Sept 16th date for Pro. No idea if you'll get it early but it's probably unlikely.

What do you expect when they release a new phone every year. They are supposed to move the Face ID camera to underneath the screen, so that will reduce the notch/dynamic island a bit. Probably will have get 5G for the first time also and a new 3nm A17 chip.

Apple would probably get better reception if they just offered $50 battery replacement on the last 5 models.

Definitely reached peak phone features. Now it's just diminishing returns for new colors as others pointed out.

Isn’t it around that to replace the battery? I thought I paid $60 or something like that last time at the apple store. Even cheaper at Chinatown kiosks.
