To further, movies are mislabeled. They seem to play in 4K, but in the info window, resolution is missing, wrong, or it says "Not Rated". Is this something Apple fixes on their end, because I've tried damn near everything.

Anyone using their AirPods Pro successfully with Skype for Business or Teams (W10)? Googling shows most people having issues, but some report having success - albeit at the sacrifice of audio quality. Would be great to be able to use with iPhone and work laptop.

I am using pro's with both. The only PITA is that if they came from being connected to my phone, they wont auto connect to the laptop when opened. My jabra 65t set allows for more than one connection whereas the pro's dont.

I use my AirPods Pro on teams every day. Seems to work just fine.

I noticed one time there was a bug with the noise cancelling which would cause audio to cut if I made a noise, notably when I used my keyboard, but it was short lived and addressed itself. Also come to think of it that wasn’t teams that was a phone call.

Typically I use my phone for audio with teams even if I’m at my desk.

Are you running the feed through a receiver? If you are make sure the HDMI port to which you are connected supports 4K. I had a similar issue with one of my receivers and the setting for enabling the port to support 4K was buried in weird menu Option.

If that's his issue, every single thing in the processing chain has to be 4K / HDCP 2.2 compatible including cables with proper bandwidth ratings.

Some TV's also won't play HDR/wide color gamut stuff without enabling expanded color deep in the options menu.

Both things are done, Full UHD on the TV, and Enhanced in the receiver. Weird thing is, some things play 4k fine, I'd say about a 1/3 of my 4k library is screwed up.

Yep, just use the Teams call-me function to your iPhone-paired AirPods. So many laptops have junk Bluetooth.

I must be a total pleb. My audio is through USB gamer type headset on my windows desktop.

I don't have a web cam on my home desktop so I use my iPad (muted audio) as my camera by connecting twice.

Sometimes I feel like I work in a Call Center. lol

Teams on your phone is unencrypted?

No. This is using the call me feature where the voice call goes over phone networks. After all the zoom backlash, that was the problem with their unencrypted calls. Zoom now shows a warning if any attendees are connected to phone network that the audio may be insecure because of it.

Basically, people bitching about stupid shit.

Ya no shit haha. The app is so good, it's better than the desktop version.

Someone told me Teams was designed as a mobile app (rather than a computer app), which is why it works so well on phones. No idea if it's true, but it wouldn't surprise me.

WebEx, Zoom, everything runs great on mobile. All except Google Meets. Still a POS regardless of platform.

out of curiosity but do you guys use an antivirus on your mac and which one would you recommend?

not running one on mine, frequent the same websites, have adguard installed on my browsers and use opendns.

Hardwired. Nothing. Think I know what it is. I was thinking, and most, if not all, of these movies were codes redeemed from blurays. Why some got the 4K treatment, don’t know, but these didn’t. Waiting for Apple to get back to me.
