So I've never been to this shithole since it closed down as roadhouse, but I've never actually heard good things about it.

The brother of the person that posted this is a good friend of mine and I can say his prob one of the nicest kids around and I do believe them completely.

It's really messed up for something like this to be allowed to happen in front of the shit hole.

Actually now that I think about it my friend posted a thread about an incident I was involved in Roadhouse when we were younger..

I get what you are saying, but give your head a shake. Aren't you like in your 30's now? Most people have learned to give the drama a rest by then.

Your buddy can still try and lay a charge himself, just because those police didn't want to do it themselves (and I never understand why they never do against bouncers) doesn't mean there are no options.

I wasn't a big "club" guy in my 20's, but the few times I went....lets see, got stabbed, got beat up by 3 bouncers (I totally egged them on) and almost got into a fight at Ranchmans. Management kicked the other guy out, offered to buy our table a round, but we decided to leave.

Thank God I'm old AF now and don't go to them anymore.

Time and place, no reason to get in this scenario and avoided if you don't frequent unknown bars in the first place. Us ninjas read the room and leave, a talent you discover or it is beaten into you along the path. There were clear signs Eli had a mark on those two girls. It amazes me to no end the lengths of blindness we will go through when there is a tiny possibility we might get laid. Rough lesson and yes rather unfair.

The police don't decide what is a case and what is not a case, they only have opinions. It is not part of their job, this is the domain of the prosecutor. The police collect material and forward it all up the food chain. Even without the security footage you still have a case, there were witnesses, Eli has priors for sure and everyone knows he is a useless POS. There is also suing the guy as an option.

Odd that a guy would randomly pick you out like that. I imagine there's another side to the story but regardless once the OP fingered him back he pretty well set himself up for the following events. If you truly don't want to get into a fight don't antagonize the bully. It's a lot harder for them to bully people that are ignoring them than ones paying them attention that they are clearly looking for.
