Sorry been crazy busy with work, I have been using adapted contax g glass, but I tried Earl's 35 and now I have his 18. The camera store lent me the 16-55 2.8 and 50-140 2.8 and I might get the 16-55 and maybe a 18 and a 35 1.4.

Yeah Ryan, how's the AF on this? I'm reading it's actually really good. I was so sure I was going to get the Sigma 20mm f/1.4 Art but now I can't decide. Nikon's got the weight advantage, Sigma's got the 1/3rd stop. Filter's are a non-factor for me so that doesn't eliminate the Sigma.

I'm also torn between the Nikon 24mm f/1.8G vs Sigma 24mm f/1.4 Art for the same reasons.

AF is awesome, nice and snappy as it is on most of the 1.8G primes. Pretty sweet lens overall.

Tried out the 105/1.4 at TCS, seems like a real winner too. Have to sell my 4x5 setup and my left over M glass first though.

Back from our camping/hiking trip in Mount Assiniboine, Matt and Erik are still there with no signal so I'm posting my photos first
Looking forward to see their shots as they are hiking out on Tuesday.

We tried to do some astro but we were too late as clouds started rolling in, hopefully they get the shots

Your contax lenses worked great on your X-Pro2 but yeah you could use something wider.
How did you get TCS lend you those lenses?

Thanks man, I think all of us were taking the same shots every couple of minutes for 2 hours while waiting for sunset.
I also forgot to bring my GND filter so I was using my gloves to 'dodge' the sky

Very awesome. I've always wanted to do this hike but can't convince my buddies to do it. Did you guys hike from Sunshine or Mount Shark?

Picked up photography as a hobby a while ago but wasn't serious about it until recently. I haven't really posted in any of these threads. Here are some of my favourites from last month. All shot with my sony a6000 with various lenses.

Sunset at Drumheller Hoodoos. I know alot of people don't like lens/Filter flare, but I purposely shot into the sunset as I liked how it framed the photo in this one.

These three are my first attempt at portraits/engagement photos. Two friends of mine recently got engaged so I shot these as sort of a semi-wedding present for them. Most of my photos are landscape, so I haven't had any experience with portrait/engagement photos. Let me know what you guys think. Feedback would be appreciated
Shot these photos with a 50 year old 55mm f1.8 auto takumar lens adapted for my a6000. Strangely enough, I loved the contrast of this lens. Tried shooting with a modern sony 35 f1.8mm lens but didn't like the results nearly as much.
