Already a 2JZ mounting kit out, LOL.
Predicting an LS1 kit before end of year now...

This is going to become the Mustang Fox body of the 90s with every addon, kit and TRD upgrade around.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

    I'd say probably the RCF
That's what I was thinking intially but it doesn't hold up. The RCF with options is >$90k, and it's got 100 more hp. It's a very different market. RC 350 is closer in both price and performance.

I think I am part of the minority here and on the internet but I like this thing. I have yet to drive it of course but just on paper I suppose. I believe they are saying a 0-60 of 4.1 seconds. I haven't seen a 1/4 mile time yet or any other performance numbers.

What competes with this thing from Europe or Asia that has a 4 second 60 time for ~$70k or whatever this thing is supposed to go for.

Go back on this thread for a list.

But the cheapest would be M2 for about $50K.

TT-RS is 3.6s for a bit more money, so will a Corvette I believe.

Do you mean the m240? It is cheaper but also slower. The M2 comp should be more money than this Supra with about equal performance. Although I haven't been in the Supra the interior (even though it seems all BMW) looks better to me than the current 2 series. The current 2 series interiors for me are a deal breaker.

~ $65K-75K ( Base Supra $65K, add $3K for freight/PDI/etc, and options/package will probably hit $75K) will be similar price as the Audi RS3, loaded M240i, A45/CLA45, also Mustang 350, Corvette (after usual discount)

I guess it depends how "rare" the Supra will be, say if each Toyota dealer only get 5-6 a year, $70K is a fair price, but if it will be as common as M2/M3/M4, AMG .. then no.

Anyway, no back seat, so I am out!
