Google pixel 7 - Scotiabank app is not sending app notifications (transactions etc). App is up to date, deleted app and reinstalled. Verified all app / phone settings multiple times with no success.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix my issue, besides wiping my phone?

(I have a apple work phone, still gets said notifications.)

Notification access is toggled to on for the app and app isn't behind battery saver?

Yes. It was set to optimized, I don't think I've ever messed with this setting but I just changed it to unrestricted. (options: unrestricted, optimized, restricted)

Did the reset to 2 step when I deleted the app and reinstalled.

I can usually figure this stuff out but I'm stumped with this one. I think I have to wipe my phone but hoping someone has a different idea.

Edit: changing that setting to unrestricted and reset 2 step verification again last night.

No dice.

Another piece of info, if I go into the app and check the notifications, it shows the list of notifications, just never appear for me.

Don't know how well wifi calling and VoLTE compatibility these days with OP on Canadian networks. But $800 for 10 Pro is only ok price for year old flagship.

I'm so tempted to buy one for when I'm in Canada this Summer given they're 580€ in Spain and security updates on my 4A end in August this year.

Seems like there are a lot of issues with battery, heat, and other random issues though. Does anyone have one? Do you like it?

My biggest concern/issue is if I have warranty issues I'll need to return to Canada to deal with it (I had that issue with my Pixel 3XL while traveling and it was a nightmare).

Pixel 6 pro here and none of the battery or screen touch issues that others complain about.

Yes I had those issues with my 6 Pro along with reception issues.

I switched to iPhone for the first time as I didn't think the 7 would be good either.

The 8 might be decent this year but I don't think it will be able to compete with the battery life of iPhone.
