It was a cool car (cooler before you swapped in an auto), 128mph in the 1/4 mile is fast, and lots of people still love it.

Leave it at that, don’t try to make it something that it wasn’t.

There’s no need to try and convince people that you could have easily ran a 9 and that it “was one of the fastest street cars of its time”.

If you were trapping 128mph, you'd be into the 10s. I trap 119-120mph with relatively shitty 60' ft and I run into the 11.2s consistently.

Yeah no open diffs on mine so it's driving on easy mode. You can still get through on open diffs but momentum becomes more important.
