Yeah ever since I was a kid and super b's became a thing I wanted to drive one. I'm not a good enough roadside mechanic to do it full time but I like to do it whenever I can. I had two weeks off over the holidays so I went home and filled in. I don't own it, I just shift the gears and make the jake go brrrrrr.

Out for a rip on ghost lake. Lots of people on the ice track side of the bridge so I just went and did laps in the powder around the island.

Rearranged the vehicles. The Grom also received a quick wipe down after sitting for 2 years.

@carzcraz how high is your ceiling in the area closest to the actual door? What lift is that? Love the setup. It's exactly what I need and want.

Thank you. The front of the garage is 13 feet, back is 14 feet; ~760 sq ft.

To maximize ceiling height, we completed a high lift door conversion. Our garage door is taller than average but this certainly helped to tuck the door rails higher up (they’re ~4-5” now vs ~3-4 feet previously). This now allows us to park the Lexus on the highest rung of the front lift without difficulty. We also added 4 low profile ceiling speakers and 6 high bay 15k lumen low profile (~2” thick) LED lights.

Both lifts are manufactured by Lift King and are the Pro King 8 model. To note though…my 4Runner has an almost 3” lift on Duratracs and even without the TRD Pro rack, was too tall for under the lift. The truck gets parked in the summer and can sit on the highest rung of the lift at the back with a couple inches of ceiling clearance to spare.

I’d recommend going with the Pro King 8 XXL if you plan to park taller vehicles underneath. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Lift King and certainly recommend them.

All good, thank you for the kind words.

We have come close twice to pulling the trigger on a 992 and Evora S to celebrate debt/mortgage free, but have deferred to if/when we return to work, as motivation.

In the meantime we are enjoying the current setup. Sadly with recent retirement and travelling, hubby and I have driven 4 of 5 vehicles (sans Lexus) a cumulative total of ~300 km in the last 7 months. The Ducati and Grom have sat idle for over 2 years.
