Nice shots everyone, good to see some more people contribute!
@tcon - The cars are very different but definitely do have some similarities. I went with the RWD R8, so I would imagine the quattro would be even more similar.
The TTRS is faster in a straight line with stage 2 + bolt ons, but the R8 just delivers the power so much smoother.
The R8 is very tail happy in corners, and the TTRS definitely still has some of the typical Audi under steer, although in winter conditions it's perfect as you can just use the power to swing you around sideways.
They both sound incredible, the TTRS just sounds like a baby version of the R8. 5cyl turbo has a very unique sound to it, that I prefer over most V8 twin turbos.
Sitting in either car feels nearly identical, but the R8 definitely has that "special" feel when you get into the car, the TTRS not so much.
Ready for the rally!

Installing insulation and new carpet in the Blazer.
Such an awesome truck!
So cool! Does that double up as as road noise reduction/vibrations?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

It’s not bad! Good little DD. Slower than hell, but at least it’s a 5speed.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
First gen’s came with 14’s from factory
Yes, the only reason I'm adding the insulation is for noise reduction. It's like a tin can in there. I drove home from Toronto, and we could barely hear the stereo above the road noise. When a rock would come off the tire and hit the rear inner fender, it was loud. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm hopefully it'll be a bit quieter inside, after.
What did you use? I’m debating putting some in the fast car to quiet it down inside. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Nope. They're stock brakes that the previous original owner painted red. Chaps my ass. I need to pull them off and restore them back to OEM at some point. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Been lurking this thread for years admiring the pictures. Figured I'd contribute after all these years.

Nice retrofits on both.
Thanks! Can't live without them now. Ever since I retrofitted my WRX in 2007, every car I've owned since that one (4 of them), I've had to retrofit because the factory lights would never seem adequate. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
