As far as who would win for either option, there are lots of factors and it’s typically not as simple as who has the most horsepower when it comes to drag racing. Street or race track? Street tires, drag radials or slicks? Are all of the cars stock or modified? Is Sentry driving, or Shak? A lot of guys don’t know how to launch their rwd cars at all, which is a huge factor. These variables add to the fun, which is why it’s not always as simple as looking at magazine times.
If it was a roll race, usually the guy with the best power to weight ratio wins, but it takes a significant power differential to reel in a car if one gets the jump on the hit.
A brand new M5 will spank a Trackhawk (roll race or drag race), but if the M5 doesn’t use launch control, and it’s a short light to light race, there’s a good chance that the Jeep could take the win. That’s what makes it fun.
I like neat cars.

But yes you're right. Driving ability is a huge differentiator. I guess I'd be fun at least.

I'm still upset that 4 years ago I sold my 2009 S2K with 22,000 km's on it for mid 30's. At the time it was great money. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yup. Still in great condition. Was the first car I fully wrapped, paint still perfect after 12 years. Took it for a drive last night, still running strong. Current owner spent a bunch of money, converted it to 6 speed (smg is a nightmare to maintain) and had the original HPF tuner fly up to install a new standalone as the HPF setup is long unsupported. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member.
