I have posted pictures of this car with my wagon, previously in this thread. He mentioned a guy with a rwd R8 bought it.
That's very cool! Small world, only 2 Sepang blue TTRS's in Alberta! I was trying to dig that picture up because I remembered seeing a blue one on here. Previous owner was a nice dude, good to do business with.

Very small world. My boss must have the other one, has also owned 2 R8’s in the past.

Does your boss park in the Bow? I think I've seen that one as well.

Yup, that’d be his. And @Buster , they’re very cool cars and surprisingly capable on the track!

I also love the TT-RS even if some call it a "girly" car. Nothing girly about that performance!

Yeah, I love the TTRS. I think they're highly underrated/underappreciated. 2.5l 5cyl turbo that sounds legendary (odd firing for cylinders), last 6 speed gearbox for R/RS car. Add downpipe and a stage 2 tune from APR your at 500hp reliably. Only complaint is the typical audi understeer, but in the snow it doesn't matter because you just take corners sideways lol.

@ Twin Cam, nice Z06 - hopefully our winter doesn't carry over into May like last year! Having tools laying up against the wall like that next to the car makes me nervous as hell lol. Don't let those shovels slip out and smash into your skirts!

I think the earlier VW bug curvy looking TT's gave them a bad rep. Those were fugly imo

Averaging 11.8 L/100 kms. Think I need to do a valve adjustment this weekend. Pretty clattery sounding at idle. Other than that, love it

What do you mean WCS is $10/BBL?

Love this car! Almost as nice as the GT2RS my buddy took delivery of last week.

I got acquainted with this fella, totally random when I pulled over on a side road of the 1A today. No ideas whose dog, but he sure was friendly. I was also pulled over later! Nice cop let me go despite speeding and wished me a merry xmas. The equally confusing part was how he got my speed - it was a single lane road and we were going opposite directions of each other, and he was following other traffic then did a U turn after I passed him and turned the lights on. I'm not complaining, he caught me red handed but I just don't know how he got my speed. Do they do heli patrol in that area? Maybe another cop on my side of the road got me and radio'ed him?

RCMP have front and rear radar... not sure why you’re confused on how in car radar works
