This was bitter/sweet as I did like the 911, but couldn't get over the v10 noise after driving it.

Thanks everyone, the colour is a wrap. The car underneath is Red (which I also like).

The colour of the wrap I am not completely sure, it's something, something, blue with xpel stealth on top. Haha. It's quite nicely done though, including the door jambs inside and everything - pretty extensive job.

Nowhere near a Turbo S.

V10 R8 is a no brainer.

I had the option of a 911 Turbo S as well for around the same price point but I picked this cause it just feels a little more 'special'. There are just way too many 911's running around that I feel it takes away the appeal of it for me. Every time I see one on the road, I have to get a real good look to decipher which gen it is etc. and that's always been a part of my gripe with 911's.

That being said, it wasn't an easy decision even between my 911 4S and the R8 as I hemmed and hawed for a good 2 weeks. Haha. In a perfect world, I wouldn't need to choose but such is the downside of not being made of money. But we will see what the future holds. Haha.

I’d choose the R8 over a 911 turbo S any day. Every 911 except the GT3 is boring af to drive compared to the R8. Put a titanium exhaust on and you’ll never go to anything less than V10 haha. I did the quicksilver exhaust on my R8 and it sounds incredible, highly recommend it.
