and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

Fun, not a lot of visual distinguishes between 235 and 240

I think mirrors, wheels, lights and some interior is about the only changes.

I’ve thought about these lately, but feel like I’d be compromising too much by not just getting off my wallet for an m2. Opinions?

    Also looking at you @killramos

B58>N55. M2C is good but significantly more money even than the M2 still.

Depends what you want as well.

M2C is a lot less comfortable ride (no adjustable dampers), no available awd (if that matters to you, might not be available in 6sp anyway), tires are more of a PIA ( Min 19’s and there is almost no room under the car even for the stock tires). The M2 is a fair bit less practical for these reasons.

Big things you get by moving up to M2C are the wider track which looks and feels great, cool bucket seats (regular m2 has the same seats as the 240), the true variable LSD from the rest of the M lineup (you can get an LSD for a 240 but it’s $$$), and obviously alot more power.

M2 essentially comes fully loaded, 240 you need to keep an eye on option packs for some features if you are buying used.

Yep 6 speed cars are RWD only and 8 speed auto cars are almost all AWD. Rare to see a non xdrive auto car in Canada for the M235/M240. My only planned mods are diff and camber plates, I don’t want to mess with the adaptive shocks, and my car is almost a no option car, just the way I like it. I helped spec this car when it was ordered new so I always knew I was going to buy it when it came up for sale down the road.
