Nice and comfy drive. My first road trip in her so learning a lot of new stuff. The cruise control is hilarious, it's those radar cruise controls so it'd accelerate hard back up to speed and slam on the brakes late coming up to cars. Sure felt like an Asian driver letting it control shit. The range estimates are completely useless even after resetting history. Full tank kept saying I only had 400km of range, but for every 100km it goes down I've already driven 180km. Honestly if it wasn't for the passing I probably could've driven even further, but what fun would that be? The navigation is fucking unusable. Honestly, the whole infotainment system is the only thing keeping me from loving this car.
Lol the E class has it as well. It slams and lurches on cruise control. It's like the car has a lead foot!

Can't be as bad as the early COMAND. Voice command for navigation is terrible in mine.

Was at Audi yesterday getting my wife's car service and had some time to check out the new stuff. Have to say was quite impressed with what they are doing with their interior and infotainment system. So futuristic with all digital and minimalistic look of the infotainment screen/buttons. Checked out the S5 Sportback as that particularly interested me being the direct competitor to my 440 Gran Coupe. If I wouldn't get raped for breaking the lease 2 months in, I'd be seriously tempted. The quad exhaust completes the look IMO and feels extremely refined from the interior. But I think I am stuck with Bimmers for life since I'd never be able to keep one for the entire term and my guy is gonna keep getting me in different ones every year without lease breaking penalties giving me enough incentive to keep doing that. Haha.

It's worse. I've owned and driven a lot of cars over the years, nothing comes close to how bad the Lexus system is.

In response to the earlier F150 (since I can't figure out how to use this new forum lol)

I can't help but feel like it's missing something on the door....

The Lexus system is pretty damn bad, that weird ass touch pad that molests you as you use it. Its there if you REALLY need it. Aside from that the entire infotainment is better to be ignored, I just set it to a radio station and then forget. Command is definitely better though not saying much.

Personally the only car infotainment that I have actually liked is iDrive, BMW seems to really have their act together on that front. Looking at the new infotainment from the 8 series concept it looks like they are going in some pretty cool directions go forward as well.

Interesting.... I personally like COMAND more than the iDrive. The child-parent organization is a clusterfuck.

My roommate traded his G35 for a 540i Msport last weekend. We have a lot of E39 win occurring at our house right now.

I believe he was sarcastically making fun of the E39's more so than the literal house.
