Use Shell gas. AMGs are so sensitive with fuel, reports misfires from part throttle, and CEL comes on. Takes a tank or 2 of gas for it to go away.

Every single time I head to BC I don’t have a lot of fuel choices in the boonies, and CEL comes right on for the whole trip. It’s happened to me with my last 3 cars. Doesn’t do it on the E400. Nor the CLS550. It’s an amg thing. Overactive sensors and software.
Funny you say that. Someone else on the forums did say it could be bad gas. Not sure, it didn't happen during the first few months but likely less than 2 tanks of gas and then happened when I started driving it more regularly. I always get Esso Premium, but I can even try to aim for Petro Canada 94 if that's better? Or I believe Shell's best is also only 91. DC's service guy never mentioned anything about it.

Maybe I should get a drop hitch for my tiny trailer.

Wow, that looks overloaded. Are you sure you can still pass uphill on the highway?

Not sure the speed rating on those trailer tires is safe.

The Ridgeline is a good choice for that. It isn't if you need to tow or haul anything bigger than a quad.
Neither is any other midsize truck though. RL has quite a high payload rating much higher than Tacoma or Frontier.

From my experience with RL, Tacoma and Ranger

RL - by far is the nicest vehicle, drives the best, smooth, terrible infotainment, just like all Honda/Acura products.
Tacoma - best looking truck in the segment, by far cheapest to own due to cult like resale, low points are transmission and ergonomics.
Ranger - best engine/power. Needs update to interior and some functionality things like rear bench split folding.

I'm considering trading in for a dually in case I need to pick up another yard of dirt with the trailer. And I was confident enough to try and race a convertible Vette while towing, but the guy wouldn't bite.

They've survived in the 150-160 range so far. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I found that accelerating at a rapid rate solves this issue.

The ricer in me still loves the tuner car look. Fuck everyone lol
I am 38 and I don't think the ricer in me will ever die, I am still rocking my old IS300 on coilovers in the summer.

I'd take a zr2 before the Tacoma or ranger

I just wanted to do something that looked different and stood out. The usual matte or satin black's are so played out that they don't do anything for me. With this, it's a love it or hate it feeling. lol

NSX is to me, probably one of the most timeless sports car designs ever penned. Awesome cars, and they still hold up visually.

Blah, gm... lariat trim in ranger isn’t too shabby. All the tech too, Ford pass as well. Forged internals, 5.4 0-60 w/only a tune
