Is that consumer truck pulling a 53' flat deck?
Yes but it was closer to a 40 foot bumper pull flat deck. Dude took three circles of the lot to decide where to park it (which could have been anywhere since there was almost no cars around).

Thanks Buster and Darkane, I think for a basically stock car it looks ok, tried to match the wheel color to OEM for the most part, functional camber for the track in the front and no changes otherwise.

I also meant to say that's a gorgeous car and photographed from an excellent angle.

Heh, I was just thinking this early AM if/when you were going to post your new(to you later last year) BMW pics. Your last gen M240i manual spec you bought back from your relative is one of my favorite cars on the forum, and something I would love to have myself. Love to see more pics and content of that car.

Great pic as usual - do you run the stock tune on your car for 91 pump gas? Do you try and find the higher octane fuels when/where they are available? How is Calgary and the roads into the interior and lower mainland so far as >91 oct fuel? BB, if you drive as grandmother-ish as possible, like you have 2 LE on your tail the entire trip sort of driving, what MPG can you get with your car? What's the max distance you've pushed it with the stock fuel tank? Not that it matters much to you I'd wager, just interesting to hear real world experiences with these cars, and non 0/60 and 1/4 mile type metrics, at least for me.

Love your bike as much as your Lotus, especially since you went back to the previous roof color (I don't mind either, hell, it's a white Lotus and you can't go wrong, but I just liked it more the first way you had your roof). Re bike - always been a Honda rider too, my first bike in/around the end of 12th grade of high school was the 1990 Honda VFR, then I went to the first gen CBR 900RR a couple years later, then up the 929/954/1000 line for a few years until 2010 ish when I last rode. Anyhow, your entire garage kicks ass.

Love the HRC colors. I couldn't justify the HRC edition when I picked up my bike. Still love my CBR.

Nice lineup. With how everything is currently parked, what can you easily get in and out though? Looks like bmw & nsx without too much messing around.

Ditto, again, it goes without saying for me that Team McLaren has one of if not the coolest line up and taste in cars. That RX8, being an R3 (I think), is the coolest of cool beans. Always wished I'd had the Rx8 experience too. Such an overlooked yet awesome car, particularly the R3 with all the upgrades like the Bilstein stuff/etc.

@Team_Mclaren - can you fit a lift in your garage, with the doors/rails being where they are and the height of the roof/etc? I'd bet you've measured and checked since you brought up not needing one - just wondering if a lift would fit on either side or both of your triple. If yes, I vote you immediately purchase at least 1, preferably 2 lifts, that way you'll have 2 free spots, and will be able to purchase 2 more cool vehicles which I can enjoy the pictures of.

Thanks! Just a stock tune for now and always try to fill with shell 91 (even though I know they use ethanol now). I’ve tried 94 from petro and didn’t find any noticeable improvement. Never had any issues with the power throughout the elevations, always pulls strong as ever and not noticeable between them. Driving in BC is a hell lot less stressful because the roads aren’t nearly as mangled. If I try hard enough I can do about 21mpg on the highway. It’s a difficult car to drive slow though, best I’ve done on a tank is 560km.

thanks for the kind words, yes it is an R3. I kinda just ran into one from the island last year and couldnt say no, with it's condition and KM.

As for the lift, I just dont think the ceiling is high enough even with a wall mount door opener. But now that I know it can fit 4 inside. with two being easily coming in and out. There is no reason to get one. I guess unless I get 2 lifts so I can fit 5 cars inside...
btw: I also have 3 more cars sitting outside right now and one more at the a shop... so ya.. no more buying

Enjoying this thing much more than anticipated.
The 3.7L sounds great and has enough zip for a DD.
So far, very happy with this purchase.

It's a great daily. Love my Ex37. Has never let me down. Purchased mine 3 years old with 70k on it, now nearing 150k and absolutely 0 issues. Great interior, great audio system, and still looks good. Only downside of mine is a cramped rear seat, which I believe is corrected in your vehicle but it might have been at the cost of rear cargo space? Regardless, I've enjoyed the last 7 years of ownership but will likely be moving on to something larger as we have child #2 on the way.

    Great to hear!
From what I read the 2016/2017 are 4 inches longer and thus more rear seat room. When I have the driver's seat set to my driving position I can comfortably sit in the back seat directly behind, for reference I'm 6'.
My wife has a van which is the family hauler, but I have two car seats in the back of this thing for the daycare drop off and day trips, works well.

Glad you like it. Surprised you think it sounds great though. Must be very different inside vs outside.
