Getting a W12 isn’t about being good. It’s about sending a message.
Also refer to the V12 AMG’s

6.2amg in the C63 was 451hp, same year.
2008 corvette with a 6.2L was 430hp

Ford 3.0L in a Ranger or Fusion or Mazda 6 at that time was 220hp, I think. Makes them all sound pretty "consumer grade"...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Audi RS4 around that time was 420hp out of their 4.2L, was it not?
I understand what you’re saying, and the Audi engine was purpose built V8 for the R8 that trickled down. Or trickled up, I’m not sure. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Incidentally, if you compare the two engine’s specific torque values, they’re almost identical.
I also think the W12 is essentially early/mid 90s Volkswagen VR6 technology. They just put two VR6 engines together.
It’s relative, but I think it makes awesome power for what it is.
I think it made 600hp in the supercar concept (nardo) in ~01

W12 is impressive for reasons other than specs.

I listened to some podcast with Dan Bilzerian and the guy interviewing asked him what it was like to bang 10's all the time and he admitted that it doesnt excite him anymore because hes been with so many. He went on to say when he buys a super car his excitement level is at a 5 because again he has so many. I'm not comparing you to Dan in anyway but it definitely sounds like you have the same problem whether good or bad lol I think a lot of people have the same problem, I know i do but on 1/100th of your level. I work my ass off for something i really want and then when i finally get it, im happy no doubt but after awhile im always wanting even moreThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member.
