Serious question: why buy a land yacht like this if you have no kids? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
None of the three row SUVs like a CX-9, Pathfinder, Telluride etc interested us and we wanted something with more adult room than our previous X1. It's complete overkill 85% of the time, but the size, power, ride and just enough tech for the cost is why we love it. Also is the feeling of safety driving on rural, isolated sask roads in the winter. All the other competitors were more expensive, unavailable and frankly, everywhere - how many Taheos, Yukons or Expeditions do you see every day? If kids don't happen, we can move into something smaller for dual-income professionals suited for the inner city, like an X3.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That makes sense. I didn’t realize you lived in sk. Having something big and heavy is way nicer on awful winter roads.
There’s a reason Yukons and expeditions are everywhere: they’re pretty good.
They were also easy to buy, dealer lots were empty this spring and for the few that were available, were way overpriced for the basic options. A diesel Yukon was nowhere to be found. The Armadas are overlooked, probably in part for the horrific gas mileage, so it made dealer haggling still possible in this market. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. There's a diesel Yukon?!?
That Timmies is terrible for that. I hate going over that way just for that reason. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

God I love timbits though. I always get funny looks when I go and order timbits, no coffee
My gifted siblings will point and alarmingly yell "HAY!!!" while I'm driving if they see something like that.
Almost crashing is always hilarious...
