I had a 535xi wagon. Loved it.

You want to do the sunroof drain check/fix though. It was a potentially catastrophic issue with those cars - it would flood all of the computers in the spare wheel area and do mega damage. BMW refused to acknowledge the issue existed or do a recall.

Hah. I only ask because I drove an 04 STi with that exact scoop, for 8 years. So I want to know why I should have downgraded from the OEM scoop to the JDM smaller one, because "it flows better".

The JDM scoop is bigger than OEM.. and you want the large scoop on a car which has the STI intercooler because the undertray and everything is different.

The JDM scoop is smaller than the 04/05 USDM STi scoop, but bigger than the 02-05 USDM WRX scoop.
