Beautiful! I am hoping for a 2020 TRDP.

    What tire size is that?

Not mine no, I couldn’t afford one unless it was a miled up 996 haha.

I do really like how that car drives, it’s just a base 2wd manual, feels more powerful than the spec suggests and the flat six sounds so good.

Ouch, and it beat the heck out of the trailer too. I've had that happen, but I was lucky and got very little damage.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

I don’t have a proper spare or a big enough capacity jack with me either. I just ordered new tires and a spare this week to boot, and it’s the newest tire that blew up.

Crappy...I'd go back to the guy you bought the trailer from and demand a refund!!

Spec R has a new tire coming for me and managed to raise the trailer and remove the wheel with my truck tools, two bottle jacks and a floor jack.

Yep completely. We have probably 3000lbs of furniture and a 3000lb disabled truck in it.

WTF is with shitty trailer tires though? I've had two blowouts on our 32ft holiday trailer this year....and all 4 were brand new last camping season, before that set I had a blowout which is the reason I bought all new last season to begin with. Seems any trip i take its a common sight to see a trailer with a flat on the side of the road. Think my next set will be LT truck tires with E load ratings.

You just answered your own question. Trailer tires are garbage. They get twisted a lot from usage, especially shorter dual axle trailers, and when you don't take care of them, they go flat every few months while sitting which affects them even more. Get a E tire with a strong sidewall, and it'll do significantly better.

They were E rated 10 ply Carisle tires. I now have 14 ply tires...and a spare. I checked all the tires were the right pressure when I grabbed the trailer out of storage, again after it was loaded and did a walk around at the Crossfield Esso and all was good, made it to exactly in between Didsbury and Olds before it blew. Bad luck I guess.

And don't forget the FURIOUS woman standing roadside with her arms folded near the poor schmuck analyzing the damage with her lawyer at the ready on speed dial.

Hate to tell you this but given how it's adam's old trailer, it's cursed simply by association. anything that could happen when towing, happened to that guy.

Haha I’m starting to feel that way. It also took out the brakes on that wheel so had to fix the wiring while I was waiting.
