    My message to the host:

“ Is Cars and Coffee still a private event, invite only for the elite? Or will plebs be welcome back one day?……………….”

And it’s crazy that there are apparently 9 F40’s in Calgary currently.
As far as special cars go f40s aren't that rare

Its currently invite only for "ballers" I herd a rumor that next week it will back back at the Cardel building for the public.
Cars and coffee is an idea that's time has come and gone. Like "rallies".

Good point, there are 58 more F40’s in the world then CTS-V wagons w/auto.

I think I’ll have to make an appearance at the next Cars and Coffee and show them what a special car really is……….. the crowds it will draw!!!!
    I like neat cars.

I just coupled my annual service with a full detail at Porsche. I would have liked to support one of the other local detail shops but being provided a loaner car for 2 days is an unmatched convenience. Incidentally, the new Cayennes are really nice and comfortable, especially with the modernized interior, just not that sporty.

Still not charging and happy I bought stiffer springs to install, but this car seems to actually work!

Thought I spotted a black-on-black Camaro pulled over on Stoney tonight but it was pretty dark out, was that you?

Not sure if I should be happy you weren't broken down or sad it's hibernating, haha.

Yeah that is the only way they can trick someone to use their detail department, to give them a 2 day loaner.
Absolutely terrible detailer for the price.

It seems like you've had a bad experience with their detailing? The price for the Platinum package I felt was comparable to other shops. The end product seems good to me, I'm unsure what could be improved. The loaner wasn't in any way tied to the detail; I would have got one anyways with the service and it was convenient to have both things done.

When Jed left, I made the mistake of using them. I hope they got their shit together because their service manager who was essentially looking after the detail department was a giant piece of shit.

I hope they hired a proper detail manager to do their customers better. Piss poor service and super uneducated folks managing. I feel bad for the detailers (who seem super awesome and nice) working under very bad management. For what they are advertising as a higher end service, there are multiple places in Calgary offering better work. It is basically bringing your car to Bubbles essentially. Hell, Detailz is way better.

You wonder why all the top folks who were at Porsche left the detail department...

I went to their site once you said this to check it out. It does look good; but fuck me, the option pricing and convoluted nonsense with Porsche sure is shocking! I've always heard people complain about it, but just a few minutes of clicking and it makes me mad. Strange company.
