Went to the west side to pick up a crank position sensor as I believe mine is acting up - there's a used vehicle sale lot on the north side of 16a that always has a bunch of old stuff. Always neat to check out what's there.

Noice. Is that Shaks exact one or just a lookalike?

You said manual so I guess no?

This was the first bike I ever bought, 10 years ago. It was so good. I replaced it with a 2012 600rr and had regrets. I still have the magnetic tank bag I used on it, and the net for the passenger seat, that has never fit another bike I've ever had.
Oh jeez don't tell me that lol. Bike sold within a day. Going to look at a 2013 CBR600rr HRC model today...

I think Shak’s was a darker gray, his was PDK and the spoiler on his was also broken.

    Pretty close though.

Little lot - just west of Edmonton on 16a.

It's a consignment lot basically, you can put whatever there and they charge x amount per week or something like that

Yea mine was a diff. spec with diff. options including diff. wheels, sports exhaust, Agate Grey metallic, pdk, Sport Chrono etc.

Congrats on the new whip Shelby, I know how much you love these so glad you were able to get one.

I on the other hand needed to wake up that V10 so it needed a titanium valvetronic exhaust system.

It was just so comfortable, more than fast enough. The only downside was the lack of ABS. I locked the rear up once or twice on cold days with a downshift.
    I have a 2017 CBR1000RR now, and I think if I kept that original f4i, I'd still be happy.

Beautiful car! You might want to get parking lessons for the wife though.

    Thanks!

It’s a painted median, not a parking stall on that side. That was intentional so we can still open the door wide open and get a kid out without concern of hitting another car.

Age of the kid? any issues getting them in and out?

My wife shot down a Jag F Type after a test drive because she felt like it would be a dumb idea to buy a 2 seater now that we have a kid... thinking a 2+2 would be the way (if prices ever come back down).
