Default Who uses the Country Hills Starbucks in the Hamptons?

Apparently the "regulars" don't like the reno we did over the weekend!

I am not a customer of this location but the back splash looks nice. I am not a huge fan of the color but it is leaps better than what is in the before photo.

The manager has a note in the back saying "our regulars don't like the new seats and benches. Say they won't be back".

    Uh ohhh!! lol.

I Guess Seattle didn't think it through. Dun dun dunnnn......

I think they are going after retro feel?

Look alright in those pics but I can see why some will hate those tiles.

Far from being regular but I do drop in there now and then and I don't really care how it looks. Now even less with mobile order and I spend less than a couple mins in any Starbucks.

Sorry, I didn't take more pics. I was so bagged. Worked from Friday morning at 8:00 am until 3:00 am. Yes, 19 hours!!
    Then Saturday 7:00pm til 5:00 am...then last night 10:00 til 4:00 am.

Everyone seems to like the tile. They don't like the new seats or seating arrangement. They increased seats by about a dozen.

I like the tile, for this application. Never for a house. It's similar to the 8th Ave Place Starbucks.

That last picture you posted looks great. I would agree that the tile looks good in a commercial application but I would never put it in a house. Can't please everyone I guess.

Probably why people hate it, it's not a big place to start with.

The "regulars"? ... You mean the ones that sit there for free wifi and use it as an office while buying one coffee every few hours? Oh the humanity!

I'd be pissed too if they changed the benches where I would spend 12 hours a day mooching free wifi.

edit - too slow for my lame joke.

With the cast on? You're an animal Dave. Maybe if you didn't have it on, you could have finished it in a couple hours

I think it looks great, but what do I know? I don't spend $5 on coffee.

Looks good man. I like it when the tile style isn't what you'd find in a house.

They'll be back. These are the same people that would be too lazy to drive to the next community over where the next Starbucks is.

Haha...hardly slows me down at all. If it was the right hand maybe. Minor inconvenience. I may just take my mini grinder to it and take it off. It's been a week already.

hate to be the odd man out, but I think the tiles look like crap, both in color and design. I know the job application itself is good as Dave did it, but it looks like ass IMO.

Tiles look fine to me, not the best color but looks decent enough with the rest of it.

i think the tiles fit the decor pretty well, goes well with the dark colour cabinets, a hell of a lot better than the yellow wall...

although my opinion probably doesn't count, i am not a hipster, and don't drink overpriced coffee, only reason i drink coffee at all is because its free at work.
