    They approved my daughter 2 days before my son's interview. Now she is stuck with a picture from when she was 2 months old until she is 14. LOL.

    We went to the interview and the guy said there was nothing he could do to take a new photo since it had been approved by Niagara Falls.

    Same with my son haha. Getting good value though since they set expiry to 5 years from approval date and not the original renewal date 3 years ago.

    Same thing happened with my wife’s renewal. Maybe 2 month wait from applying online to email confirming approval.

    I applied for my renewal today. I hope I don’t have to go for an interview now that the offices are starting to open up.
    Update: got my card in the mail this week. That amounts to ~3 month turnaround from renewal application, no interview needed. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. Gud jorb.

    Just tried to get an interview for my son and says Calgary is booked up until September. But if I go to Winnipeg I can get in by April....that's not happening.

    My whole family got surprise renewed cards in the mail. Never had to go to any interviews. Do they still do iris scans and fingerprints?
