I'm glad when I renewed mine I didn't need to do an interview, my son however requires an in-person interview since the Zoom ones are only open to those 18+

In the same boat. Wife and I renewed no interview quick renewal couple years ago.
Just applied for our second son and it was a quick approval process. Less than a week. Now patiently waiting for the Canadian offices to open up.

I checked beg of March and interviews were available next day (T/Th) but it looks like their scheduling end of July now. Looks like people are getting tired of waiting.

I submitted mine for renewal at the end of January and by mid February received a status changed to approved. No request for an interview or anything, haven't received a new card yet though, although my old one doesn't expire until after summer.

I submitted my son's initial application for Nexus last Friday and today got conditional approval that he just needs to complete an interview. Looks like I'm in the same waiting game as the rest of you now. Won't be flying until the fall now though so have some time to hopefully get this done once it opens up again.

I believe so. All they do in Canada during your "interview" is ask if your answers were accurate and valid, then take your iris scan and fingerprints. Then that info is shared with the US border patrol.

For anyone who is considering E Visa's, we did find out that the dependents no longer requires a work authorization renewal! (Not sure if the dependent could bypass the initial EAD process though). That's a huge relief not dealing with that shit show again.

The next time we cross, we'll ask the border agent to update her profile. Apparently it was implemented the last time we crossed but not many agents are aware yet - hopefully they will be next time for an easy update.

Today I randomly decided to login to TTP page to see if something opened up last minute somewhere, and noticed that my initial interview expiry date was yesterday, so it's been 3 years.....BUT....it didn't actually cancel the application and I could still apply for an interview. They removed all Canadian locations from the list and Sweetgrass showed up as a location to choose in September. so I did. Booked both wife and I. If Canadian locations open before that date I will reschedule in Calgary, but if not, guess gonna go for a little drive and just get it over with. So that's good news for me that I was able to book something at least, and didn't just outright lose my money for no reason.

Ah, not sure what's up, but even the sweetgrass location has no appointments available now, for any time. I have one booked for early June, but that's technically too late since my approval (more than 730 days) so I don't know if that'll even be allowed, or I I'm willing to drive to fucking Montana for this.
