depends on when you applied. I applied for renewal in December 2019 right before shit hit the fan. So they were doing more interviews as they planned to be open. then my interview was cancelled with the first wave of closures and they havent opened up since so i get a quarterly email from the boarder guys that my appointment has been cancelled and to rebook utill finally my account has changed to having till mid 2022 to conduct my interview. I think if you applied after they were closed they were granting alot more no interview requried renewals as i cant imagine what the back log looks like right now.

Yeah, I think you're right. I renewed mine in early 2019 and I did not need an interview.

I was a year over my renewal date, applied to get my NEXUS again and two weeks later it was in the mail.

it is expiring next week, from my understanding her nexus will remain valid for 24months grace period?

dont understand why mine was approved right away even though we applied at the same time last fall.

Renewed my NEXUS in November. Took 3 weeks from when I filled out the application and paid my $50 until I activated the new card which I received in the mail.
