    Default Walking down the street

Perhaps it's due to the numerous birthdays I've had (old), but I've noticed something that used to just irk me but I'm starting to find downright rude. When I'm walking down an empty sidewalk or pathway I'm usually in the middle or to the right. As soon as I see someone coming the other way or notice someone coming up from behind I move all the way to the right. Just like as if I was driving a car on a road. Why the hell do some people stay are their left and basically run into me thinking I should be moving to my left? Am I crazy (about this)? Empty hall / sidewalk / path, stay to the right...no???

I find it bad at the mall. Damn I hate the mall. I stopped moving for the majority of people. They'll move one way or another.

I also follow the stay right rule

Had this happen to me today, I was walking on the right side of the sidewalk and this guy just kept walking diagonally straight towards me virtually pushing me off the side walk if I kept my pace/ bump into him if I didn't slow my pace. I gave him a "are you fucking serious?"glare.

I stay to the right. I generally walk faster than most people but I'm also really small so if I run into a rolling roadblock, fat chance I'm pushing through. Annoying when at the mall.

Shoulder down and lean into it is my strategy. They ran into me, their problem they aren't prepared.

Different story when in a mall or grocery store. Since shit is on both sides of the isles in a grocery store, or because malls are sofaking busy, I just duck and weave through traffic lol.

The worst is cyclists or skateboarders on the sidewalk expecting you to move or they will run you down.

I agree with this. As such, I do very little to move when they come by. Wanna run into me? Go for it. I'll get a bump on the shoulder, and you'll fall off your bike.

I don't know man. After a friend of mine had their elbow broken by an inattentive cyclist I stopped doing this.

It's really too bad the old stick in the spokes trick is frowned upon when you're an adult.

Maybe they're from overseas where they're used to walking on the left.

Or crosswalks. They act like a car when its convenient on the road, then like a pedestrian when they want to cross and dont stop/yield.

Get a pitbull, shit moves left pretty fast. Even with my old, passive 15-pound dog, people move.

I've noticed a certain confusion to the left/right rule, normally it is in the under 25-year-old crowd when it happens.

I hate it when a group of 2-3 walk side by side and expect you to take to the grass/gravel/street.

Also bear in mind a lot of people downtown don't drive, so they are completely clueless as far as moving to the right. They just live and work downtown.

If she's hot I simply give her boob a squeeze as I pass by.

Somedays that idea pops into my head and then flashbacks of old 90's hockey's hardest hitters scenes run through my head and I think to myself, what if? One day...

I'll often just stop dead in my tracks and let them walk around me, that way they can't claim that it was I that ran into them.

It's a lot worse with all the Pokemon go-bots roaming around.
