Default What kind of license plate is this?

I found an Xterra on a facebook group and the girl selling doesn't have a kijiji ad. But she showed a few pics, and says she lives in Rocky View, the plate number is 19-G210...is this a dealer plate or something? Or commercial plate?

    2005, 285,000km, she's asking $4000 obo which seems reasonable...

I don't know about the plate but I had picked up a 2003 Xterra with 198K km's last year for $5K as a winter beater. Only kept it a month, put around $600 (stereo system and exhaust work) on it and sold it for $4600 as I didn't like it. Just for comparison purposes. Not sure if $4K for one that's close to 285K km's is a good deal.

Ya I sold my 2006 Pathfinder with 280,000 for $4500 and it was in almost flawless condition...

She just told me she bought it 3 months ago and "fixed something on it"...I'm thinking maybe it's a special plate a vehicle gets before it passes inspection and gets the rebuilt status?? I don't know I have never seen that kind of plate before...

Either commercial or Farm for those numbers. I'm going with Farm cause of Rockyview

Top right corner IIRC should have a farm sticker.

Yea, as others have said, just a commercial plate. I used to get those on my cars so I could park in the commercial loading zones for free. Those zones are all gone in Calgary now.

Wouldn't want to park fancy vehicles in commercial loading zones?

Ballers don't need free parking anyways.

Huh? I don't even know where you would come up with something like that.

It's like you came up with some completely fictional explanation for the plate out of thin air.

Definitely check the transmission if you buy it... $4K or not the '05 to '09's are known for coolant leaking into the tranny fluid and blowing everything up - see link: SMOD.

I owned an 06 Path so I'm familiar with these vehicles. ..anyways she turned out to be working for a curber, posted about 5 vehicles a day on that Facebook group but no kijiji ads, so shady. .asked her what needed to be fixed on it when she "bought it" and she never answered me. ..

It wasn't about the free parking. It was about the VIP parking. Commercial loading zones had the best locations back in the day.

What are the black plates with the silver characters? Saw a few of them on Deerfoot recently
