Default 'The Nissan Titan of Suvs' Second Gen Unveiled (Q5)

Finally, images and info of the second gen Q5.

Looks like it gets the more powerful 252hp 4cyl like in the A4/6 and styling like the Q7 which I like a lot with similar lines of the first gen. Also 200 lbs which is pretty significant savings.

What is wrong with your title, use more punctuation!

    Is the SQ5 happening again?

Yup, and there will be an RS version as well apparently. Not sure if we are getting it though.

With this new Q5 it looks like a minor exterior refresh, but the air suspension, interior upgrades and infotainment upgrades are pretty solid upgrades. We are driving an 2017 A4 loaner right now, and the interior is awesome.

Sorry you big baby. Do you want some pictures of rare nissans?

I would figure an SQ5 is in the cards if they are giving us an RS3.

All new platform (MLB, used on A4 and Q7) for this though so lots of changes under the skin. But yes, the interiors are night and day from the previous models.

Audi really has the design down in this generation of cars. I am seriously thinking of a S5 Sportback for my next car (assuming they send it to Canada).

S5 Sportback is 1000% coming to Canada. I'm waiting to hear if this new Audi Sport division holds up to their promise of bringing RS cars to the market faster, and to North America. I personally think we'll see the RS4 Avant come to Canada in 2-3 years.

I didn't realize how many Audi models Canada misses out on until I visited Europe. RS6, RS3, A1, etc.

Isn't the Armada the "Nissan Titan of Suvs"?

The Nissan Titan is ugly looking, is the OP stating the Q5 is ugly?

Personally I have always liked the Q5 although it was looking really dated inside. New version looks good.

    I had the same question...
Is the Titan being used as a comparison as a something good or bad? The titan doesn't really do it for me in any aspect.

This looks great. They kept what made it good and made it even better without changing it too much.

I just hope the +hp and weight savings makes a big difference because the current gen is already really peppy for what it is.

No, the first gen Titan was in production for 12 years so I was referring to the long time in between generations. The Q5 will be 9 years between generations.

Looks amazing. I love the interior changes.

It's coming, probably just not at the very start. The "S" cars often come about a year later.

Car looks great, especially the front/sides. Audi does so well with these I can see why they might be afraid to change it haha.
