Moraine Lake Larch Valley can be quite nice.
Someday we may need to activate the halo structure off Deerfoot and destroy the North East.

A group of us went to Larch Valley/Sentinel Pass the past Wed. Scattered clouds but cleared up. No precipitation. Lots of contrasting colors. One of the better hikes

    5.5h return hike incl breaks.

I haven't been, but I've heard Pocaterra Cirque is nice and away from the crowds.

Confederation Park if you want to save some gas.

Last weekend, it was spectacular as trees are yellow and not bald yet and grass is still green. But you gotta fight for spots tho because every family and their kids/dogs are out there for fall photoshoots.

Prairie Mountain Trail, a little west of Bragg Creek.

    Edit*
Not the trail that goes straight up the mountain but around it.

Nah, the one I'm thinking of, you just stop in the valley where the larches are. Maybe ~2hrs one way. Sentinel Pass will take you higher up and if you're crazy, you can continue up to Mount Temple.
