Default Flashing D (7th gen Civic)

Changed the starter and engine filter housing on my 2001 honda civic.
    Now I have a check engine/flashing D light.

There is no acceleration, the "D" keeps flashing and the check engine light is on. Moves 10K at best

any ideas? I checked the fuses and they all seem fine. Not much help online except to check my tranny solenoids. They seem to be fine
**edit, I don't have an OBD II Scanner, waiting to see if I can borrow one from a friend (if he can find it )

Not sure what a filter housing is but maybe someone unplugged the transmission wiring harness or damaged it when the starter/other work was done. Try unplugging the harness and check for damage / corrosion. Of course try the Obd scan first.

Did you have the battery disconnected or did you spark the starter lead by accident?

Something happened during the repairs just need to figure it out.

    I would check fuses.

Had the battery disconnected. First thing I did before doing any work. I'll check anyways
