Default Honda Mechanic to For MDX Timing Belt, etc?

As the title says, I am looking for a good independent Honda shop that can change the timing belt, water pump and adjust the valve on a 2012 Acura MDX.

Has anyone got a good shop for that?

I am going to bring my car to Hu's garage. I also have a timing belt coming up soon and he has done good work on my other Hondas and Acuras

I've heard of good things with Hu's and I like my mechanics at Leader automotive

Hu did my TB on my previous MDX. Good price and good work. Current MDX I got it done at Silverhill. Was not unreasonable.

Has anyone gotten the 'valve adjustment' done on an MDX? Is it worth it?

Depends what you define as worth it. It might quiet your engine a little bit but like most maintenance items it will make your car function the way it always has/was supposed it. Back in the day when I worked on my own cars I adjusted the valves on a few of my hondas. None of them were actually out of range but weren't at the factory spec either.

I don't have much valve noise coming from my J37 but I will get the valves adjusted just for peace of mind.
