Our family has one, he's 11. He's great. He's well trained and listens but when he was younger he was a bit stubborn. They need regular grooming and lots of walks

The breeder we got him from hasn't done it for a while now though. Good luck

Great dogs, but kind of high maintenance. We had one, had to put her down a few years ago at 15 due to back problems.

Like said above they can be a bit stubborn, but are very intelligent. Learn how to do your own grooming to save a bundle of money as they need it often.

We got our dog from BC, cant say I know of any local breeders at the moment.

Had Wheaten terriers throughout my childhood. Great dogs.

They do need grooming often as their coat can get matted easily, but on the plus side they don't shed and are hypoallergenic.

They can be stubborn but ours were very affectionate.

This website has a list of breeders: http://www.scwtac.com/wheatens/breeders-list/

We got our dog from Lana Campbell in Priddis a couple years ago, and were generally pleased with the experience.

I agree with what others have said about the breed.
