Anyone heard of this “Delivery by Amazon” before? My other order that came today clearly said delivery by intelcom.
Amazon doing their own delivery now?

Yup. Can't remember if they've been doing it in Vancouver, but IIRC it's been a thing out east for a little while now and a thing in the states for a while-if your order is shipped with their own courier you can spec your delivery for Amazon Key where you give them a way into your house and they drop the package inside.
Yup, they have Amazon branded shirts and everything. They even ring the doorbell and hand you the package (mine do anyway). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Cool. Probably makes sense to handle some % of their deliveries themselves. Got to be a massive amount of their operating costs so makes sense to own that margin.

I just assumed they owned intelcom
In larger markets, they handle the easy deliveries in house. This is new in calgary.

Been delivering to us for a year down south.
As bad as Intelcom was for deliveries, Amazon seems to be worse. Getting deliveries way later in the day. Usually after I leave work instead of morning-mid afternoon.

Me too. Very consistent in that the delivery is never in the morning. Always after 4pm.

Yes. Have seen some with Amazon branded vans too. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Funny, only with wfh so we complain about deliveries not coming during the day. I was cursing deliveries that came mid day for years wishing they would deliver during hours people were actually at home lmao

I get delivery to work. I'm out of town so they won't deliver to my home. Daytime delivery means I get it the day I'm supposed to.

Not sure why but I always get notification about package coming and once it is delivered, even if I am at home and open the door. Can't complain as their service was excellent.
Intelcom has been great for me to be honest, no issues at all. The Amazon branded company - terrible comms, just shows out for delivery but doesn't any additional detail like intelcom does - you are delivery 54 of 121.
The worst is Dynamex. Never received package meanwhile they mark it as delivery cancelled and such....by me!!! The worst in myopinion.
