    Default Back Massagers?

    hey guys,

I've been contemplating on getting a back massager for home use. my wife and I do quite a bit of sports, so a massage at the end of the day would be awesome.

can you guys recommend some good, yet inexpensive back massagers? I'm not looking to spend thousands of dollars, but just something to remove some knots around the shoulders and back.

    thanks!

They were selling them at stampede one year, probably sat in the chair for 45min... had to buy it. Plus health spending account covered it so it was basically free

Not quite what you're looking for, but I find rolling on massage tools like these ones work really well and you can apply as much or as little force as you can take by adjusting your weight on the tool.

https://www.mobilitywod.com/ (great for rolling out your spine)

    https://www.rumbleroller.com/massage-balls.html

Tennis balls or lacrosse balls work too, but I might these tools have a better firmness and shapes that help.

    We have one of these:
https://www.bedbathandbeyond.ca/stor...tegoryId=23443 and find it really helps. They sometimes have them set up and Bed bath and Beyond so you can try them. With a coupon, they're not a bad deal.

Not "back" so much as all over, but if you want something that can REALLY dig into things - give this a try:

thanks for the responses! i'm going to read about your guys' suggestions, for sure!

revelations, i saw a similar massager that is being sold at cross iron mills (kiosk near the food hall). i'm highly considering that, after giving it a try.

The Zyllion ZMA-14-BK seems to have great reviews on Amazon and other places online. However, it doesn't seem to ship to Canada.
Anyone know of a local place that might sell it?https://www.amazon.com/Zyllion-ZMA-1.../dp/B00BOYG4WE

So, if you need quite firm pressure, what do you do, lay these mats on the floor so you are getting maximum help from gravity?

    Those recliners look stellar.

The one I linked to (band) you can sit on it for glute massages or place it on a bed for back attack mode. Its really intense if you just put it on the floor (tried with my legs).

+1 for Casada. I picked one up a few years ago from the stampede and have been using it quite often. I put it on my recliner to get more pressure and the heated option is awesome. You can customize if for a specific spot on your back. Also has standard and shiatsu massages.

I absolutely love mine, its quite hard tho so if your sensitive you may need to add some padding, almost impossible to stop.

I would love the full seat but I may just need to buy it on the next trip to the states

    Comment that adds value:
Make sure you know how to used the foam roller appropriately. That can make all the difference.
