Default Las Vegas Solo things to do

I am headed to Vegas next Sunday for a convention and plan on extending my stay for the following weekend. Seeing as I am going solo, partying is probably out!

I was planning on going to the Grand Canyon but it seems to be 440kms out of Vegas so a bit far for a day trip...

Do you guys have any ideas for solo activity suggestions to do in Vegas over 3 day weekend?

    TIA

    Partying solo is the best!

Do the canyon by helicopter, drive a race car.

Gun range, golf. Spend as much time on Freemont street as possible, folks are just friendlier down there.

How about hitting Michael Jackson ONE, Britney Piece of Me, and Mariah #1 to Infinity. Going on your own will ensure nobody makes fun of you haha. All 3 are awesome shows.

Last time I was in Vegas alone I hit the GnR show, got kicked out of the Hard Rock, slept 3 hrs and hit the track in a bunch of AMGs. Not hard to find your own fun out there. Oh to be single again...

The west rim of the grand canyon is on aboriginal land or so,etching like that, so you can go and check that out and it's only a 2-2.5 hour drive:

    http://www.grandcanyonwest.com/

But it's a $50 admission to get in compared to the national parks which is free. But there's two different sections to see which is pretty rad.

    There's also the Hoover dam:

    https://www.vegas.com/attractions/ne...as/hoover-dam/

I checked this out with my wife, wasn't a shit ton to see but still enough.

Also there's the valley of fire:

    http://www.valley-of-fire.com/

There was a lot to see at the valley of fire, really rad rock formations and stuff. Suggest you check that out too.

Other than that for solo stuff that doesn't involve partying, Fremont street at night, strippers, outlet shopping, restaurants outside the strip.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

Hoover dam tour was better pre 9/11. I don't really recommend it anymore, long drive for so little.

Las Vegas Rock Crawlers is a great jeep tour. Just don't do it on three hours of sleep. I nearly put the jeep into the ditch on the way home because I was so tired.

"Take all the dam pictures you want" until a security guard taps on your shoulder and asks you to come with him.

I was just there for SEMA and found cool shit to do off the strip. Ubers are cheap.

The first night I was there I found a little punk rock dive to get some beverages, they have live music every night and always no cover.

Rage is right about those shows, especially since you are solo. I wanted to check them out last week but didn't have time. Have had friends catch it though and said they are really good.

Here, this has some more stuff for you:

Check out Pawn Stars while en route to Fremont St.

The zip line down that strip is weak.

I'm a nerd, but I liked the National Atomic Testing Museum. Wanted to drop by Ricks Restorations too, but never found the time.

I like going to a Poker tourney or two while I'm there, because they usually run for 4+ hours (depending on how deep you get of course) and the good ones are usually at night at around 7pm. Something really hard to pull off when I'm with my SO other there.
