AFAIK they do rip the tickets, so not sure how that mom pulled it off but all the seats were filled.

Also, IIRC when purchasing tickets you can not leave 1 seat empty in a row, as in...if there's only 4 seats left and you need 3, it won't let you select them unless you take all 4.
Yes Shawnessy was one of the first. Has had reserved and rocker seats for almost 2 years now.

As for Mom and two kids: mom walks in with one kid and two tickets. Gets seated. Leaves kid in seat and comes out with her two tix and gets other kid and goodies...walks back into theatre with 2nd kid and her already clipped two tix.

I've done that many times for adults. Buy two tix...walk in, get seated, come back out and and pick up another adult. Can do that many times over if it's not a sold out show and there's not reserved seating.

Agreed - such an amazing experience that I won't go back to Cineplex unless they start offering something similar.

Costco's night out passes make it even more amazing. It's $25 ish for tickets, 2 popcorns and 2 drinks. The cherry/lime Coke is also another big plus.

I usually hop in earlier in the day to reserve seats using the Costco voucher since you can't do it online.

Don't think Cineplex can give up on those profits lol

How many seats are in Cineplex vs Landmark recliners? 240 vs 80?

    Quick google didn't yield anything

Yup, landmark seats are awesome. $35 bucks for 3 ticket at Costco make it a great way to spend an afternoon. Just don't recline the seats too far back or you'll fall asleep like I did

I know I'm late to the party with these relining seats, but oh, man!!! we watched "justice league" last night at country hills, and it was the best experience ever!

I keep hearing that the seton theatre will have recliners once it opens up, too. *fingers crossed*.
