Also, how come Telus still doesnt offer ADSL in my area! I've had cable for about 5 years now and still ADSL isn't available in my area.

Thats the joys of taking over a Telco...AGT had shitty plain old Telephone lines, that are not ADSL sustainable, it takes time and alot of money to change them over, hense why ADSL is not available in all areas.
