Has anyone been out to the lake lately? Curious how thick the ice is with all this cold we've been getting but also was relatively warm up until mid december.

SASC (a separate club) reported 15 inches of thickness on December 18. We will measure it again on January 6.

I've been out three times, had my 4Runner on the ice and haven't heard and cracking or seen anything questionable. I've seen 3/4 and 1 ton trucks out there this year too. SASC has already had a school and checked the ice is safe.

Putting some final touches on the 2017-spec Previa before this weekend. Have a couple of other ideas in the works, it may get a mid-season update as well.

Should be a fun ice season this year!

Unless we announce otherwise the first event is scheduled to run as planned. Hopefully the temperature is warmer than what is currently forecast.
