The criteria for being a Beyond Baller is simply knowing you are one.

I just got off the phone with them, they offered me $45 I told them it wasn't good enough so they offered me $100.
Thanks to the OP for this... $100 in my pocket
How? lol. I thought it was just consumption charges for January?Originally posted by T-Dubbs

i read through the threads, and told them to match ATCO's promotion, and they said they could only offer $60 credit. So i accepted.Originally posted by Disoblige

Saw the credit they put on our last bill. Free $ is good. That said some people who found out about it didn't bother.
They said I have to sign up for EasyMax and be on a floating or fixed rate for both electricity and gas to qualify for the $100 credit. Not sure I want to do that
THEY said no cause im not on easymax
Got told no as well, have to be on easymax, and if I switched both nat gas and electricity the best they could give me is $20
Spoke with someone online who first offered $35. I said that I would likely switch since ATCO was offering $100 and they repeatedly refused. So I said ATCO offered $60 off based on this thread they matched that.
I'm in a condo using gas + elec.
15 minutes on online chat, totally worthwhile.

Anyone just make the switch?
-Atco you can pay by credit card
-Atco is $34 a year cheaper when you take into account both site fees & credits.
Atco = $(-3.50 site fee *2)*12months + $50 = -$34
Enmax = $(-7 site fee *2)*12months + $100 = -$68
-Atco Variable rate for gas is actually cheaper by .$10 GJ
-Variable rate for electricity is the same
I'm on easymax and I got a credit for calling in, but still thinking of making the switch. It's not significant...but it all adds up.

for me supporting enmax is more so to keep the money in the city than to save a few bucks, direct and atco you're just feeding some CEO's mansion fund, enmax is owned by the city.Originally posted by Sal0

In the same period total compensation for the organization's top five executives exceeded $9 million.
It's not as bad as some companies, but I'd still consider that a mansion fund.

The information for Enmax isn't accurate. The $2.2M total was comprised of salary + retention bonus + performance bonus + defined pension contributions. Essentially income/cash, not expense related.Originally posted by Thaco

A person could do alright on a few of $2m+ years. Beats my 2015.
Yep, that works for me.Originally posted by Enmax Live Chat
Thank you for waiting.
Your usage last January was 887 kWh @ $0.0599 = $53.13 and natural gas 12.83 GJ on the floating rate = $28.50.
I can credit $81.63 to your account if you choose to stay with ENMAX.
Got "Nancy" online lol.......took 10 min for $100 credit!
120$ took me 4 mins on online chat
