    Carbon emissions on the scale of bad emissions isn't really all that bad.

    Per molecule, lead in leaded gasoline, that the US pumped into the air many decades ago at hundreds of times the rate of other nations - is far more detrimental to the environment and human health.

    There is no question that if you want to blame overall degradation of human health in the last century - you must blame leaded gasoline.

    Kids nowadays have no idea how nasty that stuff was, you would literally only be able to tolerate a couple minutes of that exhaust, you could literally taste the metal.
