Dodge trucks are priced like Canadian Tire. 25% off is their standard price and you are crazy to pay any more.

at 25% discount these aren't much more than a midsize CUV like a RX350 for example

Congrats on the new ride. If I was able to fit in one comfortably I would grabbed it instead of the F150.

to a point, similar optioned ford and chevy were both in a similar price range. I prefer the Hemi and overall styling of the dodge, HATE fords LOL and I felt I got a better bang for my buck over the Chev.

Best part, I think I can use my Carven exhaust on this truck, havent popped underneath it yet but im hoping.

If I compare it to a golf r which I had at 45k the ram I want is 59k without negotiation it’s not that bad.

Yupp, traded him in, was time, he was rusting on the passenger wheel well, above the windshield from rock chips, bottom of the doors. Even with how well I took care of it, just was time. 10 years outta him!

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

We truly live in the golden age of half-ton torque. 480 ft-lbs is beastly.

    It is impressive.

Crazy thing is, it’s still not the torque leader. Ford is smart with their releases of engine. Thought I read for 2020 the 3.5HO will be available in more trims, not just limited.

Having towed with several gas V8's as well as the first-gen 3.5L EcoBoost, I can say I'd always choose the forced induction for towing. Will be a prime consideration if I ever get back to buying the trucks I want instead of just the trucks I can afford.

New to me 2018 Ram sport. Crew cab 6'4" box, 3.92 rear. Have got to say it was the very smooth ride when test driving that won me over.

There would be no way, i would tow 12.5k with a half ton. Paper specs or not.

Even if you wouldn't pull to 100% of the rated spec, a higher rating is a good indication of a more capable truck. So if you'd be comfortable pulling at 75% of the rating, a truck rated at 12k is better than one rated at 9k....

The heaviest i pulled in my 3.5 eb was an 8klb trailer and my truck did it no problem but theres no way in hell i want to be doing much more than that in a half ton.

The setup and payload starts to run out after 8k.
