Pretty impressed with the Ecodiesel. Picked up w 15 crew short Laramie LongHorn in Lethbridge and it averaged 11.7L/100km towing 3000lbs into a headwind on the way back at 115km/h.

If it hasn’t had the last rounds of recalls, DO NOT DO THEM. It will murder the performance and create other nuisances.

Unfortunately I have to complete them to export the truck, but it’s not a personal vehicle anyway so it won’t affect me.

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

I need to make my 2016 1500 sport 5.7 more exciting to drive. I thought about getting a raptor, but actually preferred the 1500 after driving it for a while.

Not much of a truck guy so don't know where to start..

    I was thinking the following would be a good start;

    - S&B intake
    - high country leveling kit 2.5"
    - diablosport tuner
    - magnaflow exhaust

    Thought/advice?

Its gonna take a full on custom build and some power adders to make the ram fun to drive after seeing the cars you've owned. Im not sure what your take on fun to drive is but a level and some nice wheels would do the trick for me. I had a magna flow on my old truck and it was fun at first but the novelty wore off real quick and now i love how quiet my truck is. I've always wanted a tuner on my trucks but always pussed out last minute because of the stories i read.

This. A postive displacement blower will make it fun to drive and give you lots of torque right off of idle.

Supercharger is only a possibility if you have the 8 speed ZF trans. My brother and I already spoke to Davenport on a SC and they wouldn't touch it with the old 5/6 speed trans.

My brother does have the Diablo tuner, S&B and a cat back exhaust. Truck rips but its no super charger

the old 5/6 speed trannies are GLASS... Davenport wouldnt touch my truck unless I upgraded it at the same time.

Im ordering a carven exhaust for the new '19.. pretty excited.

Pissed out though as I took a MASSIVE rock on deerfoot under 17th/blackfoot overpass where all the construction is and DESTROYED my windshield. Anyway I can go to the city and as for it to be fixed? or is that potholes only?

No, thats only for potholes and even then you would have to prove the city knew about the pothole and did nothing.

However for other things (rocks) you would also have to prove it came off a vehicle (eg. dump truck) - I saw an entire vice come off a welding truck once on DF after they merged on Pegain tr. Bounced along making sparks and headed in the ditch (even though it came off the left side).

That would have been a claim against the company if it hit someone

Thanks for advice. What's a good place in Calgary to get parts installed?

Raven Trucks quoted me $1400 for a high country leveling kit installed which seemed insane..

Yea I figured as much. Im just soo annoyed because ive had the truck UNDER 2 months, its already been hit and run (rear bumper), hit and run (side mirror WHILE it was folded in) and now this damn rock...

Pro tip for people with the 12” screen, get a “paper like” screen protector for an iPad and cut it down to fit your screen.
    No more fingerprints.
