Where's some decent sled hills In Calgary ?
FYI

Note: For safety reasons, the Parks and Pathways Bylaw prohibits tobogganing or sledding downhill in any City-maintained park except the ones listed above. The bylaw does not apply to private, provincial, or federal land. Citizens wanting additional hills to be considered for tobogganing can contact 311. A site assessment will be conducted and a public engagement process will determine the site's suitability.
Check out Turtle Hill. It's along 45th street between 26ave and 17ave.
I am a rebel.
I toboggan where I want.

I grew up sledding down nose hill
Norfolk way nw has an awesome hill that's kid approved. Walk due west from there past the condos you'll find an underpass to some wild ass sledding on nose hill. Bring gt snowracers and helmet if you go that route. Watch the drop into the underpass, was sight of some spectacular wrecks 30 odd years ago lol
lol at people that actually follow that bylaw. As far as I know the city has never handed out a single ticket.
Every year I keep meaning to hit up the giant hill into inland athletic park near the spyhill dump. Would be insane
Until you lose control into those goalposts haha. I find it's not the hill, but the quality of the sled that makes the biggest difference. I have this Dora saucer that's somehow Christmas Vacation epic even on medium hills, and I end up sliding for ridiculous distances once it levels out.Originally posted by J-hop

What part of town are you looking? There's a sweet bowl in Bridlewood just off 162nd Ave.

I've always thought this would be a great hill for tobogganing...St Andrews Park, right beside university drive.
But I don't think I've driven by when there has been a lot of snow. Has anyone tried it?

The hill facing east towards Deerfoot south of 64th Avenue NE but the trees at the bottom can be obstacles for long sliders.Originally posted by Boosted131
Looking for something fast and long/steep. Used to go over to the one by glenmore inn, not sure how it is this year though.
