Just fixed my Hoyme Automatic air control for my furnace. Bought it off Kijiji a few days ago for a good deal, but when I got it home, it didn't work. The seller said they could refund the money, but I told them that I will let them know after further troubleshooting what is required to get it fixed. Found out that it was a bad relay. Bought a $15 relay and soldered it in. The item now works like new. The guy will refund me the cost of the relay + $$ for my time, everyone wins.

Hoyme air damper now closed. No more cold air in the basement until the furnace calls for heat:

Just finished resealing an oil pan leak on my 2001 chevy tracker. Fun fact you have to take out the front diff, cv's, and pull the engine to get it off... I thought about lighting it on fire and rolling it down the driveway a few times but about 6 hours later it was done and leak free.

    Replaced thermostat in my M3.

2 hours, some coolant plus the $129 part saved $1600 in labor

Ridiculous what some dealerships are charging

Yesterday fixed bathroom light fixture - 2 of 4 lights wouldn't come one, found loose rivet which help wires for the dead side, soldered it and all is good.

Also yesterday, fixed my cordless 20V Dewalt multitool - wouldn't run on high speed, found loose connector inside and all in good.

Now working on older HP Mini 110 that won't power up, no lights, no fan, no nothing - power adapter is good, battery is charged properly, have reseated RAM, still nothing. CMOS battery is dead, suspect this could be cause but seems odd to me that laptop wouldn't at least boot up - there are multiple reports of a dead CMOS battery preventing a laptop from booting up so I'll try a new CMOS battery.
    Will fuck off, again.
