Sure did in 2001. Long before I joined the industry. Worked out ok for WJ. Let's see how newleaf recovers.

Well, we know WJA doesn't call it competition:

"If Air Canada's anti-competitive actions are permitted to continue, WestJet may be forced to withdraw from the Hamilton-Moncton route and will need to re-think its expansion strategy," Mark Hill, WestJet's vice-president of strategic planning.

At least New Leaf just cancelled their routes instead of complaining to Canada's Competition Bureau.
